Hi, I think that HC could make some money, by asking (not forcing) users to put their Google Adsence or some similar ads on their sites. I saw some other hosting companies doing that (again, not FORCING, but asking) with success. For example, I could borrow some space (which is unused) to HC ads ^^

If only there was some way to tag facebook with an add for HC. We could all put the ad on our facebooks and could generate some additional hits. We've already have started a thread in the admin section so we can discuss our options in the near/long term future. We'll still entertain any thoughts from the community. So thanks in advance for any input from our users :)

I love this idea. I'm willing to put an ad on my website generated by HC.

Yeah I agree with this... nothing is for free really and I've been so happy with this webhosting service. As a matter of fact, if you visit my site, I'll put a link to this webhosting and i don't mind to place it in a better place...as long as it's not one of those adsense that uses the lot of room.

As long as the website pertains to google's adsense terms then they should be allowed in my opinion. You can view the proper terms here: https://www.google.c...NXXX6czz5Xz_eEQ

Oh yea I know, I was just responding to the notion of letting everyone use the google ads.

Just so long as you don't take offence at the folks who don't put any ads on their sites anyway! AdSense looks OK on HostCell, but looks very out-of-place and tacky on other sites.

FYI, you can modify how adsense codes look. If you need help setting it up on your site and blending it in with your website, i can help.

Yes. It wasn't the matter of how the ads look, that makes it seem unprofessional to me, but the fact that there are ads there at all. Think of a business trying to project a professional image on their website, and the prospective client sees that they are running 3rd-party ads... not quite the thing.

But there aren't many business sites (I mean serious-business sites), who use free webhost. They pay for the hosting and don't have to put any ads. Since this one is free webhosting, there are a lot of personal (or "not business") sites and I think it wouldn't be a problem to put a small ad on the website. However another point is that this would be optional (either you put ads on your site or do 4 posts in a month), right ?

Yes you are right Indeed! And it wont be 4 post. Depending on your plan. It can be something ranging from one post to 30/40
