Well this is the upcoming paid plans( might be changed a little but no a lot). The good thing about the paid plan is they all will be using there own separated high power server. Also with more features. A new plan between #1 and #2 would be pretty good. #1 has too less disk space and no addon domains. And #2 has too much (well a little less would be better) space and bandwidth. Just my opinion. Hope someone agrees with me :) BTW ffMpeg is for video streaming, or what? I'm actually considering Plan number 6 if it's coming with a Dedicated IP, would it be possible too add in a special feature portion where we can pay our normal monthly fee and extra for stuff like Private SSL and private DNS names like ns1.yourdomain.com

Private SSl can be purchased from any domain register( godaddy for instance). Since i dont have license for selling it. Private nameserver can be setup for a small fee.

There is one consideration not mentioned. There are members here who have a track-record of helping HostCell, and who qualify for a top post2host plan, but who would nonetheless like the extra features of a paid plan. (By "members", I really mean a certain member here for 2 years, and with 1,300+ posts, many of them helpful!) If I want a p5 plan, do I have to pay exactly the same as a new sign-up, who has never posted, and who never will unless he needs help? If the HostCell owner was to offer a large discretionary discount to favored members, it would be well received!

Doesn't exactly sound fair to those who never knew about HostCell before and are just finding out about it. That's just my opinion though, but I wouldn't be against you guys getting a certain percentage off of premium hosting as the post too host is already low as is.

I mean, if you consider the plans, These are like one of the lowest you can get, Plus the features. I mean, This price is already discounted. But there will be a affiliate program which will give you guys real cash! (USD)

Yes, but that hardly stops people asking for even more of a discount! Plus an extra discount for the first members on your new paid server, because they will go thru the teething pangs. The way I see it, you earn $0 from someone on post2host, and if they upgrade to paid4 for $1, you are still ahead $1!

hmm. But i need to maintain the server cost some how. Hope you understand. Giving away more resource with less value will just increase cost.

Why are paid plans worse then p2h plans + payment Compare "***p2" and "Post2Host5"

They are not worse. #1.Faster Server #2. Server with more Features, Less abuse #3. 99.9% uptime guaranteed, p2h guarantees 99.7% #4. Powerful server - More then the current one+Softaculous+FFMPEG+( you will see once i put up the comparison)

What if something happens, and HC is unavailable for a few days.. Uptime would become like 99 or 98%. So what "guaranteed" means? That you will do money refund or something to people who lost their clients or something..?

If for some reason, the main server fails, your accounts will be restored to another server from backup ASAP!

This a good propossal, nice for me too. But 0.75 is a better price :P
