Thought the mac section was looking a little bit empty...
What are your opinions of OS X Lion? Do you like the new interface, the new improvements or do you hate the fact features were removed?
Personally, i love Lion. It's os much faster that Snow Leopard and i love the new interface and window animations :)

to be REALLY honest i would go mac if money wasnt a problem and there was more games for it... and before you say "well, you can play windows games on a MAC" i'll say " whats the point of having a MAC to play windoze games?" :) but my sister has a G3 and ive had a mess about with it and thought it was indeed better than a PC

I have 10.6.8 Snow Leopard (the last update).
I run VirtualBox when I have to resort to a Windows application (somewhat rare these days).
I'm going to let Lion 'bed-in' for a bit before upgrading, perhaps wait until 10.7.3 or 4.
I'm always a bit wary of switching-particularly on Windows but only marginally less on a Mac. 10.6.6 broke all of my audio USB third-party devices, and I won't easily forget Apple for that. 10.6.7 restored them but it took a few months for that to occur and in the meantime I had to run the devices from Windows inside VirtualBox - which kinda defeated the idea of having a Mac in the first place!
A colleague in my office is scheduled to be getting a new Macbook Pro soon, and I will check out Lion on hers.
