It has came to our attention that, most of the p2h user are not actively participating in the forum. In the past, me personally acted kind and never bothered to suspend nor terminate many of the user.

As of now, from December 13,2011, We will no longer tolerate such behavior.
From December 13,2011. Any user, who will not be seen active nor participate in a helpful way each month, without notifying Me, will face the following consequences,
Your accounts will be suspended the First Day of the next month (starting with January 1,2012).
If no response received with in 5 business day, Your account will be terminated and HostCell will not be responsible for any data loss.

If you find this notice unacceptable, we gladly suggest you to upgrade to our premium hosting platform or move to one of those unstable free hosting platform who does not tend to last any more than 3-5 month.
{This notice Does not affect to those who have paid their fee and also those who generally tend to be active (in a constructive way by literally helping the community).}

How do you go about getting an account reinstated?

Make sure you will be active,
Post your Cpanel username on support section.
Reason For inactivity:

I will review the request. If it is not reasonable, your account will be terminated with out backup or activated (if Reasonable) (If needed to do it free) or,
According to the TOS, (http://hostcell.net/tos.html- Where,"Payment"="Posts" for Post to Host ) You will need to pay $15 re-activation fee.

Sad... so very sad. I remember when I had 20+ active friends on the forum, and had to log in every day in case I missed something.

Then our websites started to go off the air for days at a time, apparently due to incompetence at GoDaddy, who Chris used at that time.

We lost some really good members then, people who were both fun and who were knowledgeable about all things website connected.

And the n00bs to help. There was a real satisfaction in teaching them the elementary things about getting their new websites up.

You can still put up tutorial. I will put up some small ads on some free hosting places to get some new user after Christmas. Was very busy promoting premium hosting and designing new website.

Working on BS for both now.
I got A+(2009), Net++(2010), Rhel Eng. Certification(2010)

Yes, I got this warning in email.

I'm assuming that the warning went out to all p2h users, and not just the ones in peril? I'm not fixture here, but have been trying to put in a little each month.

It was a general notice to all the account hosted on p2h server.

Ouch!!! I don't know what any of that means! I guess those are all new-fangled things since I left school. Good luck anyway!

To be honest, I'm not completely sure either...and I'm a 3rd year at University/College (whichever you want to call it).

I try to check in on the forum at least once a day just to see what's going on. There's usually something new. Congratulations SeriesN on you AS, keep going because learning is fun.
