Blackberry to die in 2012?

Just heard on CNN they predict Blackberry to end in 2012. Anyone else agree with this?

Seems as if everyone is moving towards Apple and Android. Amazing how Blackberry once had an entire market cornered and is now moving to a slow death.

Yeah i think that android has defeated apple and blackberry...
But in the end i think that everybody will die in 2012.... :o

i'm just waiting for a war to start where everyone drops nukes and emp's where it wipes out all digital/electronics so i can tell everyone "i told you so"

I don't buy into the Smart Phones. I think they're just the next shining things to buy. I'm sure that some people have a need for them, but I think most people don't need half the stuff on their phones.

lol ive still got and using a nokia 6680. i use my phone as a phone/text object and a camera for taking pictures and a ipod for my music dont need "all in one tech" as if one messes up they all mess up at the sametime lol

I still have two very old Nokia's ( 2160, 5165) and a very expesive Samsung (sprint) phone and Palm Pilot (SPH-i330). I don't use any of them now their just hanging around.

They're supposed to be adding support for Android apps to the next (QNX) version of their OS, so if they do a good enough job on that, then it may give them a fighting chance. But sadly, in the longer term, unless/until they provide a compelling reason for continuing with yet another OS, who knows how long they'll be able to keep things going.
